About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Analyst and Controller to join our team at Up2You. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a critical role in supporting business analysis and reporting, financial operations, and ensuring the integrity of our financial records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and other reports, in compliance with generally accepted accounting principles or applicable accounting standards.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with the Controller to develop and monitor annual budgets and forecasts, providing insights and recommendations to optimize financial performance.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation in financial operations to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness of financial reporting and analysis.
Requirements
  • Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
  • Excellent Organizational and Time Management Skills: Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Microsoft Office Suite: Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office tools.
  • Knowledge of Accounting Principles: Understanding of financial accounting principles and practices.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial reporting and analysis.
  • Effective Communication: Ability to effectively convey financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
  • High Level of Integrity: Strong ethics and integrity in financial reporting and analysis.
