About the Role

We're seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Fleet Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Indie Campers in Marcon - Venice. As a key member of our depot team, you'll be responsible for ensuring the exceptional maintenance and upkeep of our fleet of campervans, working closely with our Operations Manager to deliver outstanding service and support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance procedures according to OEM guidelines, ensuring our vehicles are always in top condition.
  • Support the management of all fleet-related activities in Venice, collaborating with internal teams and suppliers to optimize fleet downtime and costs.
  • Monitor fleet availability, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce downtime.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of fleet damages, implementing procedures to minimize future occurrences.
  • Collaborate with our Customer Excellence team to resolve fleet-related issues on the road, providing expert solutions and support.
  • Ensure all vehicles receive timely and optimized interventions, keeping our HQ Fleet team informed of any developments.
  • Maintain high standards in all fleet-related procedures, upholding our commitment to excellence.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 1-year experience in vehicle maintenance or repair, preferably in the rent-a-car or automotive repair industry.
  • Availability to work weekends and holidays.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Italian.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
