Job Title: Migration Officer

Croce Rossa Italiana is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Migration Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to the implementation of projects, particularly those funded by EU funds, managed by the U.O. Migrazioni, ensuring continuity and necessary awareness in terms of treated themes, reference context, and required operational modalities in the field of project design, monitoring, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the technical writing of new projects, analysis of context, and research, together with other structures of the association responsible
  • Start-up of projects and preparation, for the UO, of the related documentation, creation of the project organizational chart
  • Support the implementation of projects, if necessary also as project manager
  • Monitoring and evaluation of project implementation
  • Maintenance of contacts with partners during all project phases
  • Organization of national and international events related to projects
  • Support to the management and implementation of all phases of the project cycle
Requirements:
  • Requisite obligatory:
    • University degree in one of the Umanistico-social classes, preferably in the field of migration, cooperation, and cultural strategies
    • At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in the implementation of projects and application of national and international protocols
    • Technical skills:
      • Skills in creating, calibrating, and using monitoring tools, reporting, and data collection
      • Knowledge of the national and international migration context and possible intervention areas of the CRI
      • Specific training in project design
      • Excellent computer skills (Office, Google Docs, Graphics, Social networks)
      • Good knowledge of English, spoken and written
  • Requisite improvement:
    • Prior work experience in Associations or Third Sector Entities
    • Knowledge of the structure and activities of the Italian Red Cross
    • Knowledge of Arabic and/or French and/or Spanish
Desirable Skills:
  • Sharing of the mission and principles of the Italian Red Cross
  • Excellent communication and writing skills
  • Precision and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a team and under stress with urgent deadlines and in emergency situations
  • Flexibility to perform territorial movements even with short notice
