Job Summary

The IT Expert Finance Applications Specialist will be involved in the maintenance and development of financial systems used by Allianz Italy companies. This includes general accounting, accounts payable and receivable, asset accounting, controlling, consolidation, and regulatory reporting, tax, procurement, and real estate systems based on SAP and Tagetik. The ideal candidate will have a good background in insurance finance operations with a focus on accounting functions and IT expertise in finance applications.

Main Responsibilities

  • Maintain and monitor financial systems and applications in scope
  • Support the business to meet deadlines and ensure compliance with internal procedures and policies
  • Plan and execute new implementations and projects in line with business strategy and group IT standards

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Information Technology
  • Valuable experience (at least 2/3 years) working in insurance finance operations
  • Knowledge of insurance accounting and IFRS related principles
  • Good background in IT applications and systems, with focus on SAP
  • Knowledge of Software Lifecycle, Agile, and Waterfall
  • Successful teamwork experience and leadership abilities to manage IT teams
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong goal-oriented mindset, initiative, autonomy, proactivity, and problem-solving abilities
  • English Professional level
