ESG Specialist Job Description

We are Art Cosmetics, a leading Italian B2B contract manufacturer in the color cosmetics industry. Our company is part of the prestigious Italian Cosmetic Valley, a hub for innovation and expertise.

We are seeking an ESG Specialist to join our HSE & ESG department. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in implementing our ESG strategy and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Ensure adherence to ESG regulations, particularly CSRD, and maintain consistency in related reporting.
  • Develop and implement the CSRD roadmap for ESG data, working collaboratively across functions to plan, define procedures, collect and aggregate data, and review reports.
  • Regularly measure and report our Carbon Footprint using the GHG Protocol.
  • Design and implement Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) initiatives.
  • Support decarbonization strategies and monitor the implementation of action plans across departments.
  • Collaborate with the HSE & ESG team to define objectives aligned with the Science-Based Targets Initiative (SBTI).
  • Support the development and maintenance of HSE & ESG Management Systems.
  • Minimum requirements include a Bachelor's degree and at least one year of experience in ESG-related activities.
  • Strong data analysis skills, proficiency in MS Office (Excel), and advanced knowledge of Carbon accounting and ESG reporting are essential.
  • Good understanding of LCA analysis and a passion for ESG are also required.
  • Excellent team working attitude, strong communication skills, and good organizational skills in autonomy and proactivity are necessary for success in this role.
