Resident Director

The Graduate Resident Director is a paraprofessional member of the Office for Residence Life at Villanova University. This is a part-time, 10-month, live-in position that requires a graduate student to oversee daily operations of assigned halls, supervise student staff, and plan community building efforts.

• Oversee daily operations of assigned halls, including student staff supervision and building maintenance
• Plan and implement community building efforts to foster a positive living environment
• Enforce policies and procedures to ensure a safe and respectful community
• Provide crisis intervention and support to students as needed
• Participate in the primary on-call rotation after hours

• Must be a registered graduate student at Villanova University
• Must be available to work a variable schedule, including evenings and weekends
• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
• Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Stipend paid bi-weekly over 22 pay periods
