We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Category Manager and Strategic Supplier Leader to join our team at Thales Group. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for managing the electrical category and developing strategic relationships with suppliers to drive business growth and improve efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Category Management: Develop and implement category strategies to drive business growth, improve efficiency, and reduce costs.
- Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products and services.
- Contract Management: Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks that impact the electrical category.
- Procurement Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to streamline procurement activities and reduce costs.
- Education: Master's degree in a technical field (e.g., engineering, procurement, or supply chain management).
- Experience: Proven experience in procurement, category management, or a related field, with a strong understanding of electrical products and services.
- Skills: Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
- Language: Fluency in English (en-US).
