Category Buyer for Electrical Products and Multi Functional Team Leader for a Category

As a Category Buyer for Electrical Products and Multi Functional Team Leader, you will play a key role in driving the company's success by managing the acquisition process for electrical products and leading a multi-functional team.
Key Responsibilities:- Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers to ensure compliance with Thales Alenia Space's terms and conditions.
- Analyze business needs and challenges to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize the acquisition process and improve supplier relationships.
- Manage the supplier selection process and ensure that the best suppliers are selected for the company's needs.
- Lead a multi-functional team to achieve business objectives and improve processes.
- Monitor and understand the supplier panel to ensure that the company is working with the best suppliers.
- Anticipate relevant market trends and monitor innovations in the market to stay ahead of the competition.
- Maximize supplier relationships to drive business growth and improve supplier performance.
- Ensure that the purchasing contribution to Thales Alenia Space's Road Maps and product tree is aligned with the company's objectives.
- Manage the competitiveness plan to ensure that the company is competitive in the market.
- Lead and run Product Cost Down efforts with suppliers to improve profitability.
- Lead and run Co-Development plateau with suppliers to drive innovation and improve supplier performance.
- Manage generic PVETs process on relevant perimeter to ensure that the company is working with the best suppliers.
- Manage Frame Agreement negotiation with suppliers to ensure that the company is getting the best deals.
- Drive economic performance during contract negotiation by pulling all the relevant purchasing levers.
- Contribute to the Acquisition Plan through e-Acquisition tool to ensure that the company is working efficiently.
- Participate in SBR (Supplier Business Review) process to ensure that the company is working with the best suppliers.
- Lead the SBR process if appointed as SAM to ensure that the company is working with the best suppliers.
- Master's degree in a technical field (Engineering).
- Procurement experience within an international context.
- Experience in direct purchasing and contract management.
- Excellent relationship skills with project teams and company structures.
- Able to work in a global procurement environment and fluent in English.
