Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Permitting Manager to join our team at RIC Energy, a leading company in the renewable energy sector. As a key member of our project management team, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the permitting process for our renewable energy projects in Italy.

Your Mission:

As Permitting Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that all projects comply with national, regional, and local regulations. You will work closely with government authorities, environmental agencies, and internal project teams to secure necessary permits and drive project timelines.

  • Permitting & Regulatory Compliance:

-Develop comprehensive permitting strategies tailored to each project's requirements.

-Ensure compliance with Italian environmental, zoning, land-use, and energy regulations.

-Coordinate with local, regional, and national authorities to secure necessary permits and approvals.

  • Documentation & Reporting:

-Review and verify all required documentation, including Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs) and other regulatory filings.

-Maintain up-to-date records of permits, approvals, and correspondence with regulatory bodies.

Stakeholder Engagement & Communication:

  • Liaison with Authorities:

-Act as the primary point of contact between project teams and regulatory agencies.

-Negotiate and facilitate discussions with local communities, environmental groups, and government officials.

  • Internal Coordination:

-Collaborate with legal, environmental, and engineering teams to align permitting strategies with overall project goals.

-Provide regular updates and strategic recommendations to senior management regarding permitting status and challenges.

Project Management & Process Improvement:

  • Timeline Management:

-Oversee permitting schedules and proactively manage potential delays.

-Identify and mitigate risks associated with permitting processes to maintain project timelines.

  • Continuous Improvement:

-Analyze permitting processes and recommend improvements to streamline future approvals.

-Monitor changes in regulatory policies and advise the team on necessary adjustments.
