About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven In-Home Sales Flooring and Design Associate to join our team at Floor Coverings International, Ltd. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving sales growth through our in-home sales and design services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Engagement: Build strong relationships with clients to understand their flooring needs and preferences.
  • Sales System: Utilize our proprietary sales system to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Customer Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for all flooring service inquiries and ensure seamless communication with clients and internal teams.
  • Installation Coordination: Coordinate installation schedules and communicate with the Office Manager to ensure timely and efficient project execution.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Ensure client needs and expectations are met, collaborating with the Install Manager to deliver exceptional results.
  • Relationship Building: Develop lasting customer relationships and cultivate key referral sources for ongoing business growth.
Requirements
  • Sales Experience: 3-5+ years of in-home and/or outside sales experience.
  • Drive and Determination: Demonstrate a competitive drive to exceed sales targets and achieve personal bests.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Possess exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills to build strong relationships with clients and internal teams.
  • Independence and Teamwork: Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a dynamic sales team.
  • Competitive Spirit: Embrace competition and have a strong drive to succeed in a fast-paced sales environment.
  • Problem-Solving: Demonstrate strong problem-solving and negotiation skills to overcome obstacles and close deals.
  • Detail-Oriented: Pay attention to detail and possess strong organizational skills to manage multiple clients and projects.
  • Integrity: Uphold values of integrity and honesty in all interactions with clients and internal teams.
  • Tech-Savvy: Be computer literate and self-motivated to utilize our sales system and other tools effectively.
  • Public Speaking: Comfortable speaking confidently in public to present our services and build relationships with clients.
  • Industry Knowledge: Flooring, construction, or design knowledge is advantageous but not required.
  • Ambition: Desire to become part of our team and achieve a six-figure income.
  • Urgency: Approach tasks with a sense of urgency to meet deadlines and deliver exceptional results.
  • Availability: Be available for homeowner appointments in the evenings and on weekends.
  • Driver's License: Hold a valid driver's license.
Compensation
