Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Director of Food and Beverage to lead our food and beverage operations at The Hoxton in Florence. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, managing commercial initiatives, and ensuring exceptional guest and team experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a dynamic pre-opening team to oversee multiple food and beverage outlets, including a diverse events space.
  • Drive revenue growth through strategic management of commercial initiatives with the leadership team.
  • Manage the P&L and take ownership of costs, striving to find efficient solutions while maintaining high quality and exceptional guest experiences.
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef on menu development and ensure food quality and consistency.
  • Lead from the front and ensure both guest and team experiences are at the heart of all operations.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of leading large teams in restaurants, kitchens, and bars, inspiring trust and bringing others along on a journey.
  • 2+ years' experience in a similar food and beverage management/director role, either across multiple sites or a single £4m+ revenue per year business.
  • Multi-departmental budgeting and forecasting experience, with a clear understanding of financial expectations in a successful restaurant and bar business.
  • Exceptional attention to detail in a fast-paced environment, juggling multiple tasks while maintaining high standards.
  • Passion for hospitality, creating memorable experiences for guests and colleagues.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and support the team in achieving exceptional results.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
