Job Description

The IT Support Operations Officer plays a crucial role in providing standard end-user support and troubleshooting in line with Nutreco's IT Policy and Strategy. This includes providing support for local business applications, Nutreco applications, and execution of other relevant IT tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical assistance, analysis, and solutions to issues reported or escalated from the service desk.
  • Support the execution of the Business IT strategy under the leadership of the Business IT Specialist and/or Manager.
  • Apply incident and problem management processes to provide resolution to incidents or appropriate workarounds for problems.
  • Contribute to the development and modification of the network/system and its various components.
  • Install and update software, maintain and execute security procedures, and collect data, perform analysis, and suggest improvements on usage, disruptions, and problems.
Site IT Accountabilities
  • Assist in any required network diagnostic and upgrade(s) for the site(s).
  • Ensure the data backup schedule is respected.
  • Deployment of the Nutreco IT Policy.
Application Accountabilities
  • Provide application support and execute application maintenance for the local business applications, including but not limited to training, training materials, documentation of operating procedures, and user manuals.
