Job Summary

EnerSys Delaware Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Planning Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing planning strategies to optimize production and inventory levels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement planning strategies to optimize production and inventory levels.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and execution of plans.
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure alignment with company goals.
  • Lead and participate in process improvement initiatives to optimize operations and reduce costs.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in planning and operations management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Experience with SAP or other MRP/ERP systems.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
