Job Title: Planning Manager

EnerSys Delaware Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Planning Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing planning strategies to optimize delivery of products and services to customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement planning strategies to balance inventory and production capacity
  • Ensure accurate and timely entry of customer orders
  • Work with procurement and contract manufacturers to ensure smooth supply chain operations
  • Develop and manage inventory, production, and material plans
  • Provide insights and analysis to support business decisions
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Define, plan, and manage projects to ensure execution and delivery
Requirements:
  • Operations Management diploma or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in planning, scheduling, or order handling
  • Leadership experience and project management skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with SAP or other MRP/ERP systems
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working within an ISO quality plan
  • Lean manufacturing principles and knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
  • Ability to motivate teams and individuals to meet expectations
General Job Requirements:
  • This position will work in an office setting with minimal physical demands
