Talent Acquisition Specialist

As a key member of the Oerlikon team, you will be responsible for delivering the complete recruitment process, managing stakeholder and candidate expectations throughout, and providing solutions to recruitment challenges. Your primary focus will be on attracting, sourcing, and hiring the best talent to meet current and future business needs, ensuring speed, sustainability, and best-in-class recruitment.

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage the recruitment lifecycle from start to finish, including writing and publishing job ads, screening candidates, conducting interviews, and conducting tests and assessments where required.
  • Act as an expert on the market, advising stakeholders and HR colleagues on recruitment strategies and best practices.
  • Proactively source active and passive candidates through business networks, social media channels, and job boards.
  • Develop effective strategies for evaluating and sourcing candidates, ensuring a positive and smooth candidate experience.
  • Build relationships with stakeholders to ensure an effective and efficient recruiting process.
  • Support TA and social media related projects, contributing to the development of the Oerlikon employer brand.
  • Contribute towards continuous improvement initiatives and Employer Branding activities.

Output & Key Result Areas

  • Gain an understanding of the business requirements, reading through job descriptions to equip you with the knowledge to successfully seek out relevant candidates.
  • Build candidate pipelines by researching and contacting universities, employment agencies, and internet sites.
  • Build talent pools for future reference, supporting regional HR colleagues in their recruitment efforts.

Required Education, Experience, Knowledge

  • Bachelor's Degree and 3+ years of full-cycle recruitment experience, with staffing agency experience preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on recruiting experience with high-volume recruiting strategies required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with web-based recruiting tools such as SuccessFactors.
  • Experience in active sourcing of candidates, with comprehensive behavioral-based interviewing and candidate assessment skills.
  • Telephone experience in interviewing or customer service, with the ability to be flexible and multi-task in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.
  • Expert-level interview coordination skills and managing scheduling with hiring managers.
  • Expert verbal and written communication skills in Italian and English is a must.
