**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Operational Integration and Footprint Director to join our team at Sherwin-Williams. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for supporting business units in acquiring and integrating new operation units, designing future optimized production and distribution footprint, and driving operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support business units in acquiring and integrating new operation units, ensuring seamless integration and alignment with company goals.
- Design and implement future optimized production and distribution footprint, including tint and blend facilities, to drive operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Develop and execute end-to-end process of acquisition and integration, from due diligence phase to day 1 readiness, to future state footprint implementation.
- Identify and implement operational synergies, rationalize or grow current SW operational entities, and design plans for transition to future state.
- Prepare integration scenarios and related proformas based on acquisition rational and business priority, and present project business cases to ELT and executives.
- Engage with main stakeholders in all functions (finance, engineering, supply chain, sales), create consensus on strategy, and ensure project team is in place and high momentum on project executions.
- Benchmark internal and external best practices to ensure the EMEAI region is best-in-class meeting customer requirements in terms of consistent quality, best service, and optimized cost to deliver.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Submit solid plans for complexity reduction and manufacturing and supply chain footprint optimization, ensuring safety, quality, service, cost/productivity, and people objectives are met.
- Support project execution to guarantee adherence to original design, promptly escalating in case of deviances or risks, and acting as facilitators for removal of any roadblocks.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Engineering, or equivalent.
- Master's Degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or equivalent.
- Master of Business Administration.
- Significant experience as a successful leader as plant manager, supply chain manager, or Area Director of Operations in the EMEAI Region.
- Full understanding of different phases of end-to-end Supply Chain, with experience in Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement.
- Proven track record of successful delivery of change on large-scale, high-profile, strategic business and technology projects or programs.
- Experience with process mapping and implementation, supporting large or complex multi-functional and multi-divisional projects, with large complex business integrations, acquisitions, or site rationalizations.
Technical/Skill Requirements:
- Strong presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent written and oral communications skills.
- Proven ability and initiative to learn and research new concepts, ideas, and technologies quickly.
- Strong systems/process orientation with demonstrated analytical thinking, organization skills, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multi-cultural environment and to lead and influence cross-organizationally with and without direct authority.
- Ability to effectively move forward on tasks even with ambiguous or changing requirements.
