You will be responsible for supervising a team of housekeeping staff, ensuring that all areas of the hotel are clean and well-maintained, and providing exceptional service to our guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and train housekeeping staff to ensure they meet the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
- Conduct daily inspections of all areas of the hotel to identify and address any cleaning or maintenance issues.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure efficient and effective cleaning operations.
- Monitor and maintain the quality of cleaning products and equipment, and ensure that all staff are properly trained on their use.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of cleaning and maintenance activities.
- Provide exceptional service to guests, responding promptly to their needs and concerns.
- Develop and maintain a positive and productive work environment, fostering a culture of teamwork and respect among housekeeping staff.
- Monitor and report on cleaning and maintenance activities, providing regular updates to management.
- Ensure that all housekeeping staff are properly trained and equipped to perform their duties safely and effectively.
- Develop and implement procedures for handling guest lost and found items, and ensure that all staff are properly trained on these procedures.
- Collaborate with the Housekeeping Manager to develop and implement cleaning and maintenance budgets, and ensure that all expenses are properly accounted for.
Requirements
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures and equipment, including cleaning chemicals and supplies.
- Experience in supervising and training housekeeping staff, and ability to develop and implement effective cleaning schedules and procedures.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with guests, staff, and other departments.
- Ability to maintain a high level of attention to detail, ensuring that all areas of the hotel are clean and well-maintained.
- Knowledge of cleaning products and procedures, and ability to evaluate new supplies and equipment.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment, fostering a culture of teamwork and respect among housekeeping staff.
- Knowledge of Microsoft applications, including PMS systems.
- Ability to speak and write in Italian and English.
