Job Summary:

The Department of the Navy is seeking a highly skilled Management and Program Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for analyzing budget, staffing resources, and organization structure to determine the most efficient procedure for integrating these resources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze budget data, processes, and submissions to review and approve budget requests and allocation of resources.
  • Develop and execute budget requirements to ensure required manpower, funds, and resources are available.
  • Implement corrective measures within the framework of various program requirements to ensure mission initiatives are met.
  • Resource and Budget Analysis - organize and update all information management systems to track a workforce.
  • Manpower Analysis - Handling, communicating, and applying laws to issues concerning finances and human resources.

Requirements:

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
  • Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.
  • New employees to the Department of the Navy will be required to successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Passport.
  • May be required to obtain a VISA dependent on the overseas country's laws/regulations.
  • Must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications:

  • At least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing the following duties as a Management and Program Analyst.
  • Conducting analytical studies of management functions to improve effectiveness and efficiency of organizational structure, programs, manpower use, staffing levels, and performance quality levels.
  • Applying management theories, Total Force Manpower, and human resources concepts, rules, and regulations to develop and coordinate manpower program requirements.
