Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled IT professional to join our team at ESSS. As an IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for managing our computerized environment, providing technical support to our customers, and preparing technical documentation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support to customers through various channels;
  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot hardware and software systems;
  • Manage asset control of software and IT equipment;
  • Participate in technical planning and implementation of IT projects;
  • Monitor and administer network services to ensure optimal performance;
  • Prepare and maintain systems documentation in accordance with company standards;
  • Identify and implement new technologies to improve our IT environment;
  • Assist users in making effective use of available equipment and applications;
  • Participate in the analysis and implementation of new hardware and software.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of Linux and Windows environments (servers/desktops);
  • Experience in equipment maintenance (Servers, desktops, laptops, network assets, etc.);
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Strong organizational skills;
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly;
  • Advanced Spanish language skills.
Preferred Skills:
  • Intermediate/advanced English language skills;
  • Knowledge of network services (DNS, DHCP, SMB, SFTP, LDAP, HTTP, VPN, etc.);
  • Experience with script creation and manipulation;
  • Experience with virtualization (VMware) and cloud technologies;
  • Knowledge of information security (backups, firewalls, antivirus, etc.);
  • Experience with support service delivery;
  • Linux LPI certification.
