Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented IT Analyst Junior to join our team at ESSS. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our customers, managing computerized environments, and preparing technical documentation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support to customers through various channels, including phone, email, and in-person interactions;
  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot hardware and software components to ensure optimal system performance;
  • Manage asset control of software and IT equipment, ensuring that all assets are properly inventoried and maintained;
  • Participate in technical planning and implementation of IT projects and initiatives;
  • Monitor and administer network services, ensuring that all systems are running smoothly and efficiently;
  • Prepare and maintain systems documentation, including user manuals and technical guides;
  • Identify and implement new technologies to improve the IT environment and enhance customer experience;
  • Assist users in making better use of available equipment and applications, providing training and support as needed;
  • Participate in the analysis and implementation of new hardware and software, ensuring that all solutions meet the company's needs and standards.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of Linux and Windows environments, including servers and desktops;
  • Experience with equipment maintenance, including servers, desktops, laptops, and network assets;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders;
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously;
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes;
  • Advanced Spanish language skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Intermediate or advanced English language skills;
  • Experience with network services, including DNS, DHCP, SMB, SFTP, LDAP, HTTP, VPN, and other related technologies;
  • Knowledge of scripting languages and experience with virtualization and cloud technologies;
  • Experience with information security, including backups, firewalls, antivirus, and other related technologies;
  • Linux LPI certification.
