Job Description

As the Composite Design Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of designers in the development of high-performance composite components for our F1 cars. You will oversee the design process, ensure quality and reliability, and collaborate with other departments to achieve our racing goals.

Main Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Mentor and guide personnel in composite design techniques and best practices.">
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures to maintain a functional department.">
  • Lead the Composite Design Group in designing F1 car components/assemblies.">
  • Collaborate with Aero and Structural design departments to support their targets for quality/compliance/strength/weight.">
  • Nurture relationships with business partners to develop composite design group workload plans.">

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

Education and Experience:

  • ">
  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering with a strong knowledge of composite materials.">
  • A minimum of 12 years of experience working within composite design in F1.">
  • Previous experience as a design project leader for main composite structures.">
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize vehicle performance.">

  • Excellent organization and communication skills.">
  • Strong English verbal and written communication skills required; Italian language fluency is preferred.">
  • Ability to lead composite design projects from concept to completion.">
