About the Role

This challenging position involves designing conceptual solutions that optimize weight, cost reduction, complexity minimization, and performance maximization. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing CAD designs and methodologies for bill of design, typical sections, and 3D modeling of new design archetypes/concepts.
  • Managing activities related to multi-material design knowledge (aluminum, carbon fiber, steel) and manufacturing requirements (joins technologies, manufacturing technologies).
  • Interpreting experimental results and CAE simulation data.

Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates should have:

  • A Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Vehicle Engineering, or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in design, development, and release of BIW, including entire BIW design (underbody, upper body, and closures).
  • Familiarity with Catia Software and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum
