Manufacturing Excellence Specialist

Job Purpose:

The role is accountable for ensuring the successful deployment of the Continuous Improvement Program, supporting the identification and implementation of specific site projects in accordance with the centrally designed Continuous Improvement model.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Head of Process Improvement, Plant Director, and plant project teams to continuously identify new areas of improvement within the Plant, with the target of increasing overall operations performance in terms of quality, environmental sustainability, safety results, output net increase, cost reduction, and avoidance of capex investments or increase in MAPE performance.
• Participate in cross-functional teams involved in projects, participate in the process of development and training of employees on CI methodology and tools, and actively collaborate to ensure the diffusion within the Company of specific skills, competences, and knowledge.
• Collaborate inside the Plant to identify the most significant data (related to industrial performance) and promote the systematization and collection of them for the purpose of executing benchmark activities and identifying best practices and subsequent definition and implementation of internal improvement actions.
• Participate in the process to create and manage the continuous improvement dashboard to be reported to the steering committee.
• Facilitate the development of functional areas supporting the functions' respective responsible in the organization of communication and training activities.
• Facilitate the knowledge diffusion of necessary IT tools according to the plant necessities and consistently with the MIB project guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Master of Science or equivalent degree in Engineering.
• Fluency in Italian and English is a must.
• High level of autonomy, proactivity, and engagement.
• Team orientation and good relational skills.
