Key Responsibilities:

The Project Engineer will be responsible for the comprehensive technical solution delivery related to signalling systems for both bidding and contract phases. The role includes:

  • Ensuring effective implementation of technical solutions that meet project requirements.
  • Managing technical interface activities with customers and relevant authorities.
  • Communicating project objectives clearly to the project team and ensuring alignment with the project schedule.
  • Monitoring document submissions for timeliness, quality, and adherence to budget constraints.
  • Executing technical activities in accordance with company procedures, including design and verification processes.
  • Overseeing the gathering, validation, and authorization of technical change requests and ensuring proper tracking of variations.
  • Maintaining an updated list of project technical risks and criticalities, in collaboration with the Project Manager and other functional managers.
  • Facilitating effective document management and configuration management processes.
  • Providing support for the technical definition and delivery of construction documents during on-site activities.
  • Ensuring thorough verification of engineering documents and monitoring compliance with the verification and validation plan.
  • Contributing to the planning and execution of testing and commissioning activities.

Required Skills and Knowledge:

  • 3 to 5 years of engineering experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of railway signalling systems and architectures.
  • Familiarity with ERTMS systems and products.
  • Understanding of ERTMS and national ATPs on-board platforms and functionalities.
  • Proficiency in project management, planning, and monitoring.
  • Experience in interface management and commissioning processes.
  • Knowledge of project quality assurance and system engineering principles.

Qualifications:

Applicants should hold a degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Computer Engineering, or Information Technology, or possess an equivalent technical background.

Language Proficiency:

Good command of the English language is essential.
