Position Overview

The Quality Assurance Project Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting the project management team with all quality-related matters to ensure the successful achievement of project objectives, focusing on quality, supplier and subcontractor standards, and overall customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the execution of Project Gate Reviews, ensuring compliance with quality standards and customer specifications throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with clients on quality-related issues, ensuring accountability for actions taken to resolve them.
  • Facilitate and mentor project team members in assessing risks, challenges, and solutions from a quality and stakeholder perspective.
  • Evaluate the transferability of lessons learned across projects and plan Quality Assurance activities to mitigate risks effectively.
  • Work alongside the project team to create timelines, cost estimates, forecasts, and budgets for quality initiatives.
  • Implement project quality procedures and ensure adherence by the project team.
  • Verify that robust internal control systems are established to ensure processes meet customer and stakeholder expectations, validating the effectiveness of control plans in addressing prioritized risks.
  • Conduct audits on project execution and leverage Quality data analytics to identify risks, failures, and non-conformities within the organization, its suppliers, and clients, ensuring that corrective and preventive measures are implemented and tracked to completion.
  • Embody the core values of safety and integrity, taking responsibility for personal actions while fostering a supportive environment for colleagues and the organization.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, preferably in electrical, industrial, or management disciplines.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a Quality or Project Management role.
  • ISO9001 certification as an auditor.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Fluent in English (B2/C1) and Italian, both written and spoken.
  • A collaborative mindset with a strong desire to learn.
  • Demonstrated customer-oriented approach.
