About the Role

As the Capital Expenditure Procurement Manager at Franke, you will be instrumental in developing our strategic sourcing initiatives for Capital Expenditures and Maintenance, Repair & Operations categories. Franke is committed to optimizing its procurement processes, managing external services worth approximately 90M CHF annually across various capital and operational needs.

Your Responsibilities

The Capital Expenditure Procurement Manager will:

  • Formulate long-term strategic sourcing plans for Capital Expenditures and Maintenance, Repair & Operations categories.
  • Lead negotiations for Capital Investments, including Equipment, Machinery, and Leases.
  • Oversee the primary global aspects of the Maintenance, Repair & Operations categories.
  • Establish Regional and Global Contractual Agreements with selected suppliers aimed at minimizing total ownership costs through a sustainable supply base.
  • Consolidate Franke's demand to effectively manage requirements.
  • Support the Capital Expenditure process.
  • Direct Project Sunrise Procurement activities.
  • Engage in contracting with chosen suppliers and solutions.
  • Ensure the availability of services and materials for Maintenance, Repair & Operations.
  • Develop a procurement network that fosters collaboration among Categories, Divisional Units, and relevant departments to deliver optimal solutions for Franke.
  • Facilitate cooperation between stakeholders such as departments, operations, and site management with the purchasing team.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • A degree in Engineering is preferred.
  • Over 10 years of experience, with 5-7 years in an Indirect Purchasing (CAPEX MRO) environment.
  • Experience in managing engineering equipment or maintenance.
  • Preferred experience in a global or international business context.
