About the Role

As the Capital Expenditure Procurement Lead at Franke, you will be instrumental in defining our strategic sourcing initiatives for Capital Expenditures and Maintenance, Repair & Operations categories. Franke is engaged in sourcing external services amounting to approximately 90M CHF annually, encompassing a diverse array of capital expenditures and maintenance-related materials and services.

Key Responsibilities

The Capital Expenditure Procurement Lead will be tasked with:

• Formulating long-term strategic sourcing frameworks for Capital Expenditures and Maintenance, Repair & Operations categories.

• Directing and negotiating Capital Investments, including Equipment, Machinery, and Leases.

• Overseeing the primary global aspects of the Maintenance, Repair & Operations categories.

• Crafting Regional and Global Contractual Agreements with selected suppliers aimed at minimizing the total cost of ownership through a sustainable supply base.

• Consolidating Franke's demand to manage requirements effectively.

• Facilitating the Capital Expenditure process.

• Leading procurement activities for Project Sunrise.

• Engaging with chosen suppliers and solutions through contracting.

• Ensuring the availability of services and materials (MRO).

• Developing a procurement network that fosters collaboration among Categories, Divisional Units, and relevant departments to deliver optimal solutions for Franke.

• Promoting cooperation between specifiers (departments, operations, plant site managers, etc.) and the purchasing team.

Qualifications


• A degree in Engineering is preferred.

• A minimum of 10 years of experience, with 5-7 years in an Indirect Purchasing (CAPEX MRO) environment.

• Experience in managing engineering equipment or maintenance operations.

• Global or international business experience is advantageous.
