Job SummaryWe are seeking a Senior Mechanical Project Engineer to lead our mechanical engineering team in designing and delivering complex conveyor systems. The ideal candidate will have six to ten years of experience in material handling equipment, preferably within the conveyor systems industry. They will be responsible for developing project scope definitions, providing technical support to vendors and field installation personnel, and estimating mechanical hours.
The successful candidate will have excellent time management skills, be able to multitask, and have experience with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and Inventor. They will also be able to lead and mentor a project team of up to 10 project engineers and designers.
Key Responsibilities- Develop project scope definitions and provide technical support to vendors and field installation personnel
- Estimate mechanical hours and support with change orders
- Lead and mentor a project team of up to 10 project engineers and designers
- Provide technical support for project engineers, vendors, and field installation personnel
- Assist with creating a mechanical engineering schedule that provides timely delivery of material to support an installation schedule
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience in mechanical engineering and design. They will also have experience with executing and supporting multiple mid to large projects.
Requirements- 6-10 years of experience in material handling equipment, preferably within the conveyor systems industry
