About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Balance Sheet Specialist to join our Administration & Reporting Area.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Prepare statutory financial statements with accuracy and attention to detail;
  • Support the processing of Group Consolidated Financial Statements according to IAS-IFRS;
  • Manage local figures for the Ferrero Group consolidation system, ensuring alignment with reference accounting standards;
  • Collaborate with the Italian tax function to prepare income tax returns, including calculations and document fulfillment;
  • Prepare information for certification of financial statements by Independent Auditors and Board of Statutory Auditors, and manage relationships with external auditors and controlling bodies;
  • Provide data, information, and responses to external sources, as required by Ferrero;
  • Perform Financial Analysis (Customers / Suppliers) to meet requests from internal Departments;
  • Reconcile Statutory Financial Statements with IFRS Financial Statements annually.
Requirements
  • Business Management studies;
  • 5+ years of experience;
  • Strong interpersonal skills, proactive mindset, and excellent problem-solving skills;
  • IFRS and Italian GAAP knowledge;
  • Previous experience in accounting or audit firms/Departments;
  • FMCG experience is a plus.

IT Skills

  • MS Office (Excel, Power Point, Word)
  • SAP and Hyperion Financial Management is a plus

Languages

  • Fluent in Italian
  • English - Upper Intermediate (communication with Group)
