As an HR Business Partner with McCormick & Company, you will provide HR leadership and expertise to support the Supply Chain and Operations teams in Italy. Your role will involve maintaining HR policies and procedures across the SC and Operations in Italy, ensuring fair and consistent application and minimizing risk to the Company.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate Continuous Improvement and Change Management: Utilize strong change management skills to implement new processes and procedures, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  • HRBP for Italian Operations: Provide HR guidance and support to Plant managers and SC leaders, enabling them to effectively manage their teams and drive business results.
  • Organisational Design and Resource Capability: Collaborate with the Plant leadership team to ensure organisational design and resource capability are in place to enable achievement of business goals.
  • Recruitment and Workforce Planning: Coordinate local recruitment, working closely with the Talent Acquisition team and Hiring managers, to ensure headcount control and workforce planning.
  • Employment Legislation and Compliance: Stay current with employment legislation to ensure compliance and provide credible advice to the business.

Candidate Profile:

  • First degree (any discipline) & postgraduate qualification in Human Resources: Strong academic background in HR, with a focus on employment law and industrial relations.
  • Proven experience in HR manager role in an FMCG, multi-national, manufacturing company: Demonstrated success in HR leadership roles, with a strong understanding of the FMCG industry and its challenges.
  • Change Management and Employee Relations: Proven experience in implementing change management strategies and managing employee relations, with a focus on negotiation and conflict resolution.
  • Local Employment Legislation and Industrial Relations: Strong knowledge of local employment legislation in Italy, with experience in negotiating with unions and managing industrial relations.
