About the Role
As an Actuarial Pricing Specialist with French Language Expertise, you will play a crucial role in pricing life & health business across Continental Europe with a dedicated focus on French speaking countries. You will collaborate cross-functionally and with clients on pricing and product development opportunities, perform data analyses relating to emerging claims experience, and monitor the performance of our reinsurance portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead or support the development and review of pricing bases and reinsurance terms for new and established products.
- Ensure profitability of the current portfolio is maintained in conjunction with our reporting and experience studies teams.
- Collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams on product development opportunities.
- Drive thought leadership and provide guidance to others.

Our Regional Pricing team operates within L&H Continental Europe. We pride ourselves on having a diverse team with a strong sense of community. Our leadership style is collaborative, and we work cross-functionally with our colleagues across Cont Europe, including pricing, client management, business management, underwriting, claims, and reporting teams. We are committed and supportive of one another and offer a flexible working environment where curious and adaptable people thrive.
About You
- Graduation in actuarial field.
- Fluency in French and English languages with strong communication and presentation skills.
- 1-2 years of actuarial experience, and/or familiarity with (re-)insurance structures and retail protection markets.
- Excellent knowledge of relevant actuarial and statistical models.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and independent decision-making abilities.
- Highly motivated with the ability to produce accurate, high-quality work under pressure, managing multiple priorities.
- Comfortable independently owning deliverables and driving projects to execution.
- Strong customer focus with good negotiation skills.
