About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Insights Partner to join our team at GoStudent. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a critical role in providing financial insights, analysis, and strategic support to our business leaders.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Financial Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and present financial reports and analyses to business leaders, highlighting key insights and recommendations.
  2. Financial Performance Monitoring: Monitor financial performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to improve business outcomes.
  3. Optimisation and Variance Analysis: Own optimisation potential to a specific part of our Profit and Loss statement and conduct variance analysis to explain differences between budgeted and actual results.
  4. Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with business units to develop annual budgets and periodic forecasts, ensuring they are accurate, realistic, and aligned with the company's strategic objectives.
  5. Long-Term Financial Planning: Assist in the preparation of long-term financial plans and scenario analysis, ensuring compliance with internal policies, procedures, and relevant accounting standards.
  6. Financial Risk Management: Monitor and manage financial risks associated with business activities, ensuring the company's financial stability and growth.
Requirements
  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  2. Experience: Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in finance, performance improvement, or business development roles.
  3. Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data, excellent communication skills in English, and proficiency in financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting.
