Be Shaping the Future Group is a leading management consultancy and digital engagement company in Italy, with a strong presence in the financial services sector. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Consultant - Project Manager to join our team in Milan.
About the RoleWe are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Consultant - Project Manager to lead our projects in the financial services sector. As a Senior Consultant - Project Manager, you will be responsible for organizing and managing projects, identifying goals, scope, and strategy, and ensuring timely delivery, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Organize and manage projects, including identifying goals, scope, and strategy
- Ensure timely delivery, within budget, and to the required quality standards
- Anticipate roadblocks and opportunities, perform risk analysis, and identify enablers to best progress with project goals
- Problem-solving, characterizing the situation and the impacts, involving stakeholders, and identifying root causes
- Facilitate project meetings, make documentation required by the different project phases, and cooperate with waterfall or agile teams
- Attend and contribute to portfolio meetings for the whole IT department
- Master's degree in Engineering (Management Engineering or Computer Science Engineering are preferred)
- At least 3 years of experience in Financial or Insurance sector
- Experience in coordination and planning of IT projects both in Waterfall and Agile mode
- Experience in managing multiple projects at the same time or/and of high complexity
- Proficient knowledge of the Office package (in particular Microsoft Excel, Power Point, and Project)
- Project management Certification (PMI or PRINCE2)
- Fluent knowledge of written and spoken Italian and English
- Strong problem-solving skills and excellent analysis skills
- Location: Milan, with possibility to collaborate with other countries
- Training: continuous, through a wide range of internal and external courses
