About the Role

We are seeking a highly analytical and self-motivated Senior Business Consultant to join our team in Milan. As a Senior Consultant, you will play a key role in ensuring and fostering the growth of our local Financial Reporting & Consolidations practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Be the champion of our Financial Consolidation and CPM solutions, driving best practices in backend and frontend development of BOARD financial CPM and BI applications.
  • Support our Sales and Pre-sales Team during the delivery of product presentations and Proof of Concepts (POCs) across Europe.
  • Plan, coordinate, and engineer implementation of Financial Consolidation and CPM solutions, from requirements and design to mentoring and delivery.
  • Be responsive to customer requirements and mitigate concerns.
  • Acquire and maintain deep product knowledge and skills, and contribute to the continuous improvement and innovation of our solutions.
Requirements
  • Academic Background in Economics, Finance, or similar field.
  • Proven experience in CPM Project Implementations, with a focus on Financial Reporting and Consolidation Applications.
  • Deep understanding of financial close cycle and best practices.
  • Experience creating Consolidated Financial Statements for public and private companies.
  • Knowledge of GAAP, IFRS accounting standards.
  • Experience with intercompany eliminations.
  • Expert data reconciliation skills.
  • Experience with multi-dimensional systems.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory.
