Business Development Specialist

We are a rapidly expanding company in the Foreign Exchange sector, featured in The Sunday Times Virgin Atlantic Fast Track 100 for our sales growth. Our Milan office offers FX investment services in Italy, helping companies and financial institutions manage their FX exposure.
About the RoleWe are seeking a sales professional with a passion for new business development, eager to learn and grow within FX sales. You will spend time on the phone and in face-to-face meetings, building relationships and closing deals with prospective clients. You will also attend national exhibitions to network and advise businesses on FX products.
As a Business Developer, you will be responsible for researching clients, making introductory calls, developing a sales pipeline, and closing new business. You will also develop internal relationships with our Dealing team and stay aware of FX movements and the world economy.
Key Responsibilities- Researching prospective clients to understand their business and potential requirements
- Making introductory calls to new corporate clients
- Developing a sales pipeline
- Closing new business with an aim to develop long lasting relationships
- Developing internal relationships with our Dealing team
- Being aware of and taking an active interest in FX movements and the world economy
- Meeting weekly and monthly targets on call performance, quality and sales
- Attending morning training sessions and twice daily team/market briefings
- Keeping up to date with market structure changes and regulation.

- 6-12 months of relevant experience
- Self-starter attitude with a healthy dose of competitiveness
- Strong communication skills and confidence on the phone and in person
- Goal-oriented and persistence
- Fluent in Italian language.
