About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Microbiological Laboratory Specialist to join our team at ThreePDS Inc. As a key member of our research and development team, you will be responsible for conducting microbiological testing and analysis to support the development of new products and processes.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Sample Preparation: Prepare samples for microbiological testing, including indicator organisms, sterility tests, and working and master cell cultures.
  2. Aseptic Techniques: Apply aseptic techniques in daily laboratory work to ensure the integrity of samples and equipment.
  3. Media and Reagent Management: Maintain media and reagents as needed for daily microbiological testing, ensuring that all necessary supplies are available and properly stored.
  4. Quality Control Monitoring: Perform quality control monitoring by taking incubator temperatures, inoculating control organisms, and running media controls to ensure the accuracy and reliability of test results.
  5. Independent Research: Independently pursue assigned series of processes, procedures, or techniques in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  6. Laboratory Maintenance: Maintain laboratory conditions, including equipment, supplies, quality assurance programs, and accurate records throughout all procedures.
  7. Collaboration and Communication: Share information in an open and timely manner with colleagues and supervisors, and work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to achieve project goals.
  8. Testing and Analysis: Perform standard testing procedures and analyses according to assigned priorities and schedule, ensuring that individual and team goals are met.
  9. Project Support: Assist the supervisor in the organization and follow-up of research and development projects, including designing and conducting experiments, and reporting on results.
  10. Process Development: Plan and report results from laboratory and pilot microbiological and fermentation studies, and perform process and media development lab trials.
