Senior Process Engineer in Pharmaceutical Sector

As a seasoned process engineer, you will take charge of the development, design, and oversight of projects within the pharmaceutical sector. Your expertise in process engineering will be crucial as you tackle challenges and collaborate with team members, contractors, and clients to guide a project team effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute process design and calculations throughout various project phases.
- Develop tender documentation and coordinate with suppliers.
- Create P&IDs (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams).
- Address and implement customer specifications.
- Oversee project management and execution.
- Facilitate the commissioning of facilities.
- Conduct qualification and validation in compliance with GMP standards.
Depending on project demands and scale, you may also be required to perform technical tasks in process engineering, including material and heat balances, PFDs, P&IDs, and EDS.
Candidate Profile
You hold a Master’s degree in chemical engineering and possess extensive experience (over 8 years) in the pharmaceutical industry. You are capable of working autonomously while being an integral part of a professional team. Your strong problem-solving and communication skills, along with a customer-focused approach, equip you to handle conflicts effectively.
- Solid understanding of upstream and downstream processes, as well as cleaning and sterilization systems (SIP/CIP).
- Familiarity with c-GMP, ISPE, and FDA regulations.
- Previous experience in biotechnology is considered a significant advantage.
