We are seeking a highly skilled Legal Counsel to join our team at Agicap. As a key member of our People Operations department, you will play a crucial role in shaping the company's legal strategy and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Contract Management: Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts with customers, service providers, and partners in Italian and English, including SaaS contracts, master service agreements, DPAs, NDAs, and SLAs.
- Legal Advice and Support: Provide practical advice and decision support to operational teams across several countries, including C-Level, customer support, product, tech teams, and marketing.
- GDPR Compliance: Manage GDPR compliance projects with the Data Protection Officer (DPO).
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all legal regulatory requirements and good corporate governance.
- Litigation Management: Manage potential pre-litigation and litigation matters.
- Process Improvement: Help set up processes to structure the legal department and the business.
- Education: Generalist degree in business law and/or contract law.
- Experience: At least 4 years of experience in similar missions, preferably as in-house counsel in an international company.
- Skills: Strong capacity to adapt, willingness to work on a broad/generalist scope with a business and operational perspective, excellent written and spoken English, and knowledge of German is a plus.
- Teamwork: Strong ability to work with other teams as a business partner.
- Challenge: Appetite for new and complex legal and technological challenges.
