We are seeking a highly skilled Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) Engineer to join our team at Alpitronic. As an EMC Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the electromagnetic compatibility of our products, particularly in the field of e-mobility.
Responsibilities:- Develop and implement EMC concepts, supported by preliminary calculations and best practices.
- Verify EMC concept implementation through internal coordination with other R&D departments and design reviews.
- Analyze EMC standards to define EMC requirements at project level (system or sub-system).
- Perform preliminary calculations of EMC behavior using Ansys Circuit Designer.
- Design EMI filters, including component selection and schematic.
- Coordinate debug phase activities and verify correct execution of EMC validation.
- Prepare EMC-related project documentation.
- Improve design according to requirements and costs.
- Support change request processes.
- Degree in electrical or electronics engineering.
- Ability to read and understand electronic circuit diagrams and layouts.
- Knowledge of EMC standards.
- Strong experience in EMC filter design for power electronics applications.
- Strong experience in EMC debug test methodologies and workflow.
- Good skills in handling EMC measurement equipment.
- Good experience with circuital EMC simulations and basic experience with EMC simulation methodology and tools.
- Ability to think at a system level and understand links between EMC results, product design, and setup.
- Professional experience in a similar position is a plus.
- Self-reliant, meticulous work-style, and analytical mindset.
- Fluent English, Italian, and/or German knowledge is an advantage.
