Job Summary
Arup is seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Science, Industry and Technology Building Services Engineering team in Milan. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing multidisciplinary projects, providing technical guidance, and mentoring junior engineers.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate electrical design for mission-critical facilities, including data centers and industrial buildings.
- Design and implement electrical systems, including emergency systems, backup power, lightning protection, and building automation systems.
- Collaborate with architects, clients, and other stakeholders to set electrical design constraints and coordinate with other disciplines.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers and support the development of the team.
Requirements
- Sound knowledge of electrical engineering fundamentals and principles.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical or Energy Engineering.
- At least 7 years of experience in electrical design, with a focus on mission-critical facilities and data centers.
- Experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Revit software.
- Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English and Italian, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.
