Job Title: Climate Foresight and Scenarios Development Specialist

At Tn Italy, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Climate Foresight and Scenarios Development Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in analyzing climate-related risks and opportunities in the agriculture sector, involving various stakeholders in a tailored foresight planning process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the preparation of national participatory, agriculture and climate foresight and climate-smart options assessments for three participating countries.
  • Assist with the organization and implementation of Foresight Workshops, as well as the related reports.
  • Develop the Regional Multi-Stakeholder Consultation Report, including a multi-stakeholders influence mapping for each country and at the ASEAN level.
Requirements:
  • University degree in climate change, land use management, agricultural economics, development economics, project management and business administration, or a related topic.
  • At least five years of relevant experience in policy advice and analysis relating to foresight and scenario development to inform policy and planning exercises related to food and agriculture systems and climate change.
  • Working knowledge (level C) of English and limited knowledge (level B) of one of the other FAO official languages (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian and Spanish).
