About Us

Hitachi Rail is a leading provider of rail solutions, and we're looking for a skilled Project Engineer to join our team. As a Project Engineer, you'll play a key role in delivering technical solutions for signalling on board projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the effective implementation of technical solutions according to project requirements
  • Manage technical interfaces with customers and authorities
  • Communicate project objectives to the project team and monitor technical activities
  • Monitor document submission and ensure compliance with contract requirements
  • Implement design and verification processes, and manage technical change and variation orders
  • Manage project technical criticalities and risks, and ensure proper execution of document management and configuration management processes
  • Guarantee the execution of verification activities and contribute to the definition and execution of technical and commercial activities

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of engineering expertise
  • Knowledge of railways signalling systems, architecture, and products
  • Knowledge of ERTMS systems and products
  • Project management, planning, and monitoring skills
  • Interface management, commissioning, and project quality assurance skills
  • System engineering principles

Education and Qualifications

Electrical, Electronic, or Computer Engineering or Information Technology qualifications/University degree or equivalent technical background

Language

Good English proficiency
