Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team at Chiesi Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the GCST and GPST project objectives, ensuring the team drives the approved projects according to the new operating model.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement project plans, ensuring timely delivery of projects and effective resource allocation.
  • Act as a liaison between the GCST/GPST membership and project team members, facilitating effective communication and ensuring alignment.
  • Establish and facilitate effective meetings and communication plans to ensure implementation of decisions and success of projects.
  • Coordinate and facilitate GPST/GCST meetings, creating minutes and ensuring appropriate time keeping.
  • Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones, tracking project progress and delivering regular reports.
  • Manage complex projects involving multiple workstreams, acting as a single point of contact for those activities.
  • Collect and distribute project materials and supporting documents for team members.
  • Monitor and track assignment progress, ensuring timely completion and effective resource utilization.
  • Proactively share best practices across portfolios and build alignment in approach.
  • Carefully monitor assignment costs to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of resource use.
  • Develop and maintain an integrated project communication plan, aligning scientific, IP, commercial, and reputational considerations for both internal and external audiences.
  • Identify and address project-related issues in a timely manner, recommending and implementing adjustments as needed.
  • Maintain routine communications with Chairs and members to ensure smooth implementation and support throughout assignments/projects.
  • Actively seek opportunities to enhance ways of working and implement best practices to improve project management efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Facilitate lesson learning at the conclusion of projects to capture best practices, receive feedback, and develop solutions for future success.
Requirements
  • Pharmaceutical knowledge and strong soft skills are essential for success in this role.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills are required to function in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient at managing time and resources, with a strong work ethic and passion for helping move projects forward.
  • Detail-oriented and able to draw up detailed project plans and schedules.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills are necessary to manage crises and negotiate internally and externally.
  • Able to manage multiple activities simultaneously, prioritizing among multiple activities and adapting to a rapidly changing environment.
