We are a dynamic organization seeking a skilled Network Infrastructure Specialist - WAN Cisco Router & Switch Senior to join our team. As a key member, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our WAN infrastructure using Cisco routers and switches.



Job Summary:

  • Sr. Network Engineer role with expertise in WAN technology and Cisco equipment
  • Design, implement, and maintain high-performance WAN networks using Cisco routers and switches
  • Ensure network uptime and reliability through proactive monitoring and troubleshooting
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop strategic network solutions
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and new technologies to continuously improve network performance and security


Key Responsibilities:

  • WAN infrastructure design and implementation using Cisco routers and switches
  • Network configuration, management, and maintenance to ensure high availability and performance
  • Monitoring and troubleshooting network issues to minimize downtime and optimize resource utilization
  • Collaboration with IT teams to integrate network services with other systems and applications
  • Performance optimization and capacity planning to ensure future-proof network scalability


Requirements:

  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in WAN engineering with a focus on Cisco technologies
  • Strong knowledge of WAN protocols, routing, switching, and network security
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and attention to detail
  • Cisco CCNP or CCIE certification preferred
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, communicate complex technical concepts, and adapt to changing priorities
