Visual Designer Job Description

Pomellato is seeking a talented Visual Designer to join our Trade Marketing & Visual Merchandising team in Milan. As a Visual Designer, you will play a crucial role in developing visual/window project concepts, researching and rendering activities, and collaborating with the Visual Merchandising team to create innovative window display solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop seasonal thematic window concepts, including conception, implementation, organization, and production management using 3D modeling and rendering software.
  • Collaborate with the Visual Merchandising team to research new window display solutions and maintain a consistent visual merchandising level across the network.
  • Support store installations of new window concepts and in-store rotations, as well as organize store openings and specific in-store events.
  • Work on specific adaptations and personalizations of the wholesale network, supporting the relevant area manager.
  • Manage VM booklets and guidelines graphic layout, and realize retail and wholesale rendering for specific projects.
Requirements:
  • University degree or similar in Visual Arts/Design/Architecture or similar.
  • 2+ years of professional experience in a similar role, in luxury retail companies.
  • Very good knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Autocad, and a 3D program (Rhino or similar).
  • Organizational skills, ability to handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and flexibility.
  • Spirit of initiative and curiosity for fashion trends; creative abilities, eye for details.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment on multiple projects at the same time and be able to shift from design creativity to admin management.
  • Great relational skills; ability to work independently as well as in a team.
  • Excellent English skills – both written and spoken. Knowledge of any other foreign language would be greatly appreciated.
  • Willingness to travel.
