RINA is currently seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to enhance its capabilities within the Materials & Technologies Division.

Mission Overview

We are in search of a Mechanical Design Engineer to strengthen our Aerospace team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and design 3D models and detailed schematics utilizing CATIA V5.
  • Create and adjust intricate assemblies and components to fulfill project requirements.
  • Collaborate with engineering and design teams to refine product designs.
  • Conduct feasibility assessments and simulations to verify design robustness and performance.
  • Generate and oversee technical documentation, including design reports and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
  • Execute tolerance analysis and ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  • Diagnose and resolve design-related challenges and implement corrective measures.
  • Engage in design evaluations and provide technical assistance throughout the product development process.
  • Ensure adherence to project timelines and deliverables.

Educational Background

Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.

Required Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering.
  • Comprehensive understanding of mechanical principles, structural analysis, and materials.
  • Proficiency in 3D CAD software CATIA V5 (mandatory).
  • Experience in drafting and producing as-built drawings.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a comparable role.
  • Prior experience in the aerospace or avionics sector.
  • Valued knowledge and experience in FEM tools and algorithm implementation using Python or Matlab.
  • Proficient in MS Office suite.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluent in both spoken and written English.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proven ability to perform effectively under pressure.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
