About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our Marine business. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new opportunities within the Marine sector, focusing on vessel owners, vessel managers, newbuild and repair shipyards.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product development and innovation based on market feedback and customer interests. Your goal will be to co-develop the product strategy to align with the company's overall business goals for the Marine business.

Key responsibilities will include setting goals and requirements for engineering & priority of projects, developing the roadmap for the product development and life cycle of the product, and decision making and oversight during product development.

You will interact with customers, classifications societies, authorities, suppliers, and partners, maintaining a pulse on the rapidly changing industry, market trends, competition activity, key regulatory changes and client interests.

As a trusted technical advisor, you will develop an intimate understanding of client challenges and interests.

About You
  • A proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving business growth
  • 5+ years relevant industry experience in sales, business development and product management
  • A thorough knowledge of the maritime sector, demonstrable experience of CAPEX and/or OPEX driven sales
  • Specific shipbuilding, naval architecture, hydrodynamics and ship design experience will be beneficial
  • A self-starter with a strategic thinker, an excellent communicator, negotiator and presenter, comfortable presenting up to and including C-Suite
  • Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM tools and related processes
  • Experience in Project Terms & Conditions
  • Excellent communication skills and a very good command of the English language
