Marine Sales Manager

About the Role
Chart Industries is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales Manager to join our Marine team. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new opportunities within the Marine sector, focusing on vessel owners, vessel managers, newbuild and repair shipyards.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product development and innovation based on market feedback and customer interests.
- Co-develop the product strategy to align with the company's overall business goals for the Marine business.
- Set goals and requirements for engineering & priority of projects.
- Develop the roadmap for the product development and life cycle of the product.
- Decision making and oversight during product development.
- Interact with customers, classifications societies, authorities, suppliers, and partners, maintaining a pulse on the rapidly changing industry, market trends, competition activity, key regulatory changes and client interests.
- Develop an intimate understanding of client challenges and interests, becoming a trusted technical advisor.
Requirements
- A proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving business growth.
- 5+ years relevant industry experience in sales, business development and product management.
- A thorough knowledge of the maritime sector, demonstrable experience of CAPEX and/or OPEX driven sales.
- Specific shipbuilding, naval architecture, hydrodynamics and ship design experience will be beneficial.
- A self-starter with a strategic thinker, an excellent communicator, negotiator and presenter, comfortable presenting up to and including C-Suite.
- Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM tools and related processes.
- Experience in Project Terms & Conditions.
- Excellent communication skills and a very good command of the English language.
