About the Role
This Director position is responsible for providing financial support to external partnerships and collaborations, working closely with business leaders across the organization. You will track potential strategic and operational financial risks related to the company's alliances and partner with internal stakeholders to address problem areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the budgeting and forecasting for Collaboration and Royalty Revenue.
- Develop tools and processes that can support current needs while also scaling for future growth.
- Collaborate with stakeholders on opportunities to enhance or improve existing processes and reporting.
- Support special projects and ad hoc analyses as necessary.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance or other quantitative degrees preferred.
- 8+ years work experience in FP&A, accounting, valuation, and/or strategic finance roles.
- 4+ years of work experience in biotech/pharma industry, R&D experience required.
- Prior experience providing financial support to external partnerships and collaborations strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to pivot between high-level strategic discussions and operationally executing on deliverables.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance or other quantitative fields such as Statistics, Econometrics, Mathematics, or Business Insights like MBA.
Estimated Salary Range: $180,000 - $250,000 per annum, depending on location and qualifications. This estimate is based on national averages and may vary based on specific circumstances.
