**Job Title:** Project Officer - Value Chain Development

**Job Type:** Full-time

**About Us:

Table is a leading organization in the field of agricultural development, food systems, and market systems analysis. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Officer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. **Conduct Research and Analysis:** Conduct research and analysis on technical-related issues on the development, implementation, and evaluation of assigned programmes/projects; assist in the review of relevant documents and reports.
  2. **Produce Technical Information:** Produce a variety of technical information, data, statistics, and documents as well as technical input for reports and web pages.
  3. **Provide Technical Support:** Provide technical support/analysis to various assessments, studies, and projects and provide technical backstopping to field projects.
  4. **Collaborate with Teams:** Collaborate in the development of improved/updated tools, systems, processes, and databases.
  5. **Oversee Database Updates:** Oversee the updating of databases and web pages.
  6. **Participate in Multidisciplinary Teams:** Participate in multidisciplinary teams, and/or lead working groups/teams, collaborate with other divisions and agencies on work groups and committees, and promote best practices.
  7. **Promote Knowledge Sharing:** Promote knowledge sharing and best practices at international meetings and conferences and influence partners in stakeholder consultations.
  8. **Perform Other Duties:** Perform other duties as required.
Requirements:
  1. **Advanced University Degree:** Advanced university degree in (agricultural) socio-economics, food systems, development studies, rural sociology, sustainable agriculture, food industry, food technology, business administration, sustainability, or other related field.
  2. **Relevant Experience:** Five years of relevant experience in supporting project management in the field of value chain/market systems analysis and development, food systems analysis and development, systems analysis and development, or other related areas.
  3. **Language Skills:** Working knowledge (proficient - level C) of English and limited knowledge (intermediate - level B) of another official FAO language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, or Spanish).
